Growing up in the Silicon Valley of India, my engineering degree in Medical Electronics gave me many opportunities to discover the world of curative medicine. Soon I realized that I had a strong desire to help others and to have a human touch to the work I do. I pursued my Masters in Social Work and there was no looking back!
As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the cultural nuances and experiences that shape individuals. I can help you balance different identities by integrating diverse influences, offering practical strategies for managing conflicts, and addressing the challenges of navigating traditional and modern expectations.

I have over 15 years of experience in mental health care. I use an integrative framework that includes various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Body-based approaches to heal trauma.
At this time, I offer individual therapy sessions that are tailored to your unique needs and goals
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. I will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
The duration of therapy sessions is typically 50 minutes for individual therapy
Yes, I see clients both virtually and in person. In-person sessions are offered in North San Jose.
At Centered Wellness, I take your privacy seriously. All information shared in therapy sessions is confidential and will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent.
In your first therapy session, I will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. I will also talk about your mental health history, family history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
